Getting paid to receive SPAM?
Posted on Oct 21, 04 01:10 AM PDT
It's like being back in 1999. A company, Affini, is setting up a business model in which users are paid to receive emails with advertising.
It's an advertising scheme that has been discussed for a number of years. Affini will try to turn it into real cash... Affini's search technology will launch early in 2005

"Affini's model will start off as a token model. The tokens will be exchangeable for cash at a later date, in what Chang said would be a matter of weeks. At the launch, users will receive 1,000 points just for signing up, worth about $10 during the cash conversion, he said." (extremetech)
