GSM Jamming growing popular?

Posted on Oct 13, 04 10:02 AM PDT

After France decided to jam mobile GSM signal in theaters, pressure is mounting in U.K to do it too.

For now, U.K laws forbid the radio frequency jamming (Wireless Telegraphy Act 1949)

It's remains to be seen if how this will turn out, but I bet that they will succeed in banning cell phones on selected places.

What about creating a standard wireless signal that would automatically mute the phone ring in those places? :)
