Is the Dell Axim X50v capable of accelerated 3D gaming?

The device is said to be using a chip that contains a Power-VR 3D core. This graphics core would be embedded in the Intel 2700G multimedia accelerator chip that drives the VGA screen of the Dell X50v. If true, this would indeed mean that the hardware is capable of accelerating 3D. Now we need to see some software that controls it, such as Drivers… The Dell X50v is going to inspire many threads for the weeks to come. |
