JVC stops all PDA development

Posted on Oct 20, 04 01:30 PM PDT

It has been a hard week for the PDA fans. After Sharp pulling out the Zaurus out of the U.S, JVC is also disengaging from the PDA market.

Months earlier, Sony pulled its Clie line out of the U.S.

I'm afraid that the trend is going to continue, as phones are getting smarter.

"It appears that JVC has halted all further development of PDA products, as a spokesperson today confirmed to infoSync World that the manufacturer has postponed its plans for the handheld market 'indefinitely'."
