Vosonic Announces XS Drive Super VP6210 and MMV VP6300

Vosonic, a Taiwanese company is shipping their XS Drives Series: The XS Drive Super VP6210 and the MMV VP6300. Both products are hard drives equipped with a 2.5" LCD screen and a Combo Memory Card Reader. They differ in their design and storage capacity.
The positioning of those drives is kind of odd. At $500, is it an enhanced hard drive or a below-average Digital Audio/Video Player?

Specs & more in the Full Post.It all depends on how you want to use it. For sure, I think that it would be a really bad multimedia video player, because the screen is too small.
However, if you take lots of pictures, this might be a convenient companion to dump photos from a memory card. I really think that they should have either put a better screen or not integrate it at all.
Specs:
• Compatible with all types of memory cards
• Copy digital photos and other data from your memory cards to the internal HDD , from the HDD to the memory cards, or between memory cards.
• Internal 2.5" Hard disk up to 80GB
• 2 inches LCD Display to view / zoom / rotate High resolution JPEG photos, play / pause / FF / RW MPEG-1 or M-JPEG videos, and play MP3 + WMA Music with Equaliser.
• Includes built-in internal rechargeable batteries and a carry bag.
• USB 2.0 connection
• Combo card reader
Price: $500
