underwear monitor heart save live heart attackPhilips has designed underwear that monitors the heartbeat of the wearer. In case of a heart failure, it can summon the emergency services, wirelessly.

Of course, more testing has to be done as it is difficult to tell the difference between an incoming heart failure and intense physical activity.

The underwear will behave just as regular clothing, it can be washed and ironed.
