So, AOL will bet its business on dial-up subscriptions that are more expensive than competing DSL, and it will sell cheap PCs to consumers (possibly at a loss) to let them connect on the crappy dial-up connection.
There is all kind of possibilities, such as having e-keys that would expire... The locksmith should enjoy life now. They might have a tough time down the road.

PalmOne is probably going to focus on the U.S market, which is its "core business" at this point. Devices like the Treo 650 will help a lot.
