Jabra A210: Bluetooth headset for phones without Bluetooth
Nov 4, 04 09:34 AM PDT
The Jabra A210 is an external box that you plug into the headset port of your non-Bluetooth phone. It's going to broadcast the sound from the phone, using Bluetooth, so that you can use a geeky Bluetooth headset with your crappy phone. But for $71, couldn't you get a new Bluetooth-phone to start with? Phones like the T637 are practically free (AR) on Amazon. If you are locked with a contract, get a used T68i or T610. |
From Jabra's website
The Jabra A210 Bluetooth Adapter gives mobile users the ability to use any Jabra Bluetooth headset together with their non-Bluetooth phone.
The Jabra A210 works with any cellular phone fitted with an industry standard 2.5mm headset jack and, whichever cell phone you have, provides up to 8 hours of talk time and 240 hours on standby.
The Jabra A210 supports voice dialling, has a simple LED interface so that users can easily see if the headset is on or off and a low battery indicator.
