Netflix lowers rental fees due to intense competition

The pricing is a move to fight Walmart and Blockbuster in the cut throat DVD rental business. Netflix remains the most expensive service, counting on its popularity to squeeze more cash from consumers. |
But how long can it last? Not for long. After all, DVD rental is a commodity just like toilet paper nowadays.
My guess? Walmart will win unless Netflix can offer new added value to its business. That's why they are trying to find new partners such as TIVO.
