The debate over the future of Palm OS is getting hot and Ed Colligan, PalmOne's president just threw some oil on the fire.
"Mr. Colligan said. "For now, we're saying that we've built the functionality we need into the Treo and the Tungsten T5 and there's no need to confuse developers by switching. I'm not even prepared to commit us to a change next year, or the year after, at this stage.""
That's definitely a bad sign for PalmSource, the maker of the Palm OS. With basic functionalities lacking such as a file system (!) in the current OS and no hot device (treo 650, Tungsten T5) running its software, I'd say that PalmSource seems doomed.
So, where's my Treo 650 running on Windows Mobile? ;)
