AOL Launching Web e-mail Service

They plan to go head to head against Yahoo, Google, Hotmail, nothing less. This time the mail service would be open to non-AOL users, unlike previous AOL email services. The service is currently in Beta-testing phase (AOL subscribers only), but it will be available to the general public in 2005. New features include the possibility of using "rich text" (with color and styles like bold, italic…).
