Buffalo USB 2.0 Gigabit Network Adapter
Posted on Dec 23, 04 12:36 AM PDT
However, most laptops are still using 100Mbps Ethernet (Gigabit Ethernet is 1000Mbps). There's little chance that you can upgrade your laptop's network adapter, but you can get this USB 2.0 Gigabit adapter from Buffalo. USB 2.0 does not reach 1Gbps, but it can go to 480Mbps (theoretical peak). It's still better than 100Mbps (peak). Related links |
