Shumpei Yamazaki sets a new patent record

He has registered 3245 patents. The previous owner of the record was Thomas Edison with 2332. Shumpei Yamazaki contributed to the gadget world by inventing the basic mechanism of flash memory. It can now be found virtually in the most basic consumer electronics such as cellphones, digital cameras and digital audio players. |
