Trillian 3.0 uses Apple´s Rendez Vous

The "Rendez Vous" protocol is a feature of Apple's Mac OS X that makes it easier for users to setup a network.

Trillian 3.0 takes advantage of the Rendez Vous protocol to allow users on the same network to discover each other. Users can then send message, use video and file transfer.

I would be curious how good Trillian is in communicating with an external network, or trough a firewall… With the same network, MSN and AIM perform pretty well.

Take a look at Trillian, it's a very good unified IM software that's compatible with MSN, Yahoo and AIM.
