The system works by placing the ZonePlayers (the box in the photo) in different rooms of your house. And connect your PC (or whatever contains your music) to one of the ZonePlayers. It will be able to access the audio files (MP3, WMA, AAC and WAV), play the audio and broadcast the tunes to ZonePlayers, creating a mesh network in your house. This setup is controlled by a PDA-looking color controller that lets you choose what to play and where to play it. It has a sleek design and should be pretty easy to use. Each ZonePlayer costs $499 and the controller price is $399. Sonos Website. |
