| This runs on windows only, sorry Powerbooks |
Halcyonics is first to market with the Caveo, an anti-theft system designed to deter theft and ensure protection of all information on a laptop.
The Caveo consists of a Type II PC Card, 110dB alarm and proprietary software that aims to protect both your laptop and its data. You can set a theft perimeter and arm the car alarm-style security and immobilsation features either in the Windows taskbar, or by using a special Motion Password (a series of physical movements).
If a stolen laptop computer is recovered, a robust master code is required to regain access to the operating system and confidential information.
