HP DVD Writer 640i uses LightScribe technology to burn sharp-looking discs

HP is the first company to release a DVD recorder that incorporates its self-developed LightScribe technology, a very neat addition that lets you burn labels with professional-looking images and text on each side of a disc - kiss goodbye to peel-off labels (LightScribe media required).
In addition, bundled software lets you write and design your own original, creative labels using photos.
