The NanoChromics Display from Ntera, an Ireland based tech company, could be the next hot technology for the new screens. It offers huge power savings over the LCD and has the same manufacturing cost.
According to Ntera, this new patented nanotechnology process is able to display a crisp paper-like image with no loss of contrast from any angle the viewer is looking at it. The company claims that the screens are easy to make, they can be produced with better yields at lower costs.
