I really like the MPEG4 and DivX recording capabilities

This Evolution TV box can record and play TV shows on your Mac. Like most Personal Video Recorders (PVR), it can record shows in MPEG-2, but it also does MPEG-4 and DivX. The two latter formats are smaller and more convenient for sharing with friends. One can use iCal, the calendar application of Mac OS X to schedule the recordings.
