Evolution: the world´s most advanced robotic lawn mower

I've seen some weird looking lawn mower, but this one could come out from a near-future science fiction movie. The robot is smart enough to come back to its base to recharge the batteries and work basically like a giant Roomba:

"It can freely move within an enclosed area, detecting the signal transmitted by the perimeter cable located on the ground all around the area to be mowed; it can also work without a perimeter cable as long as the working area is enclosed by a fence at least 10 cm. high."
