I had to buy a useless gadget so I went to the local Kiddyland in Harajuku (Tokyo). It looks like a toys store that has all kind of cool and sometimes weird stuff.

Tomy is a simple green little guy (from some well known comic or anime in Japan - I don't know) that shakes his head from left to right, thanks to it’s solar-powered mechanism. That's all it does, but it has an enormous success with my female friends: "it's soooo cute", "adorable"...

So for seven bucks, I pretty much get the same effect that one of these chinchilla or worse: that dog thing that Paris hilton has. Thanks Tomy... (more photos below)
