Great in any situation outdoors, this color plotter displays satellite weather capability alongside marine and land navigation modes. When teamed up with the GSD 20™ remote sounder module, your GPSMAP 376C gains sonar capabilities. Map data customization on both land and sea is made simple when used in tandem with the optional MapSource® cartography.
Subscribing to XM WX Satellite Weather’s “Master Mariner package”, you get a continuous stream of weather conditions on the unit’s 3.8” 256 color TFT display. NEXRAD radar, forecasts, and current conditions are graphically displayed for easy reading and comprehension. Pay a little bit more and you will be able to receive 150 plus channels of music, sports, news, and entertainment programmes through XM Satellite Radio, which are delivered to your GPSMAP 376C via Garmin’s new GXM 30 smart antenna.
Built-in basemap and auto routing features help you navigate through wide expanses of water or vast tracts on land. MapSource City Select® software will enable you to select a destination on land and receive turn-by-turn directions to addresses and points of interest throughout the United States and Canada. The GPSMAP 376C can be upgraded to include more detail through optional DVDs or data cards, which are sold separately.
The GPSMAP 376C will be available in August 2005 and is expected to retail at $999.99. Some of its features are:
