Modded Wooden iPod creates a buzz

The  iPod now controls over 90% of the (hard drive based) digital audio player market. While the rest of the industry is going for the metal/Zen look, others have decided to take a stand against conformity. A rabid iPod fan who goes by the moniker "ZapWizard" has transformed his iPod into wood! The entire front plastic cover has been shelved in favor of a shiny, lacquered surface.

Perhaps this could spark off a brand new fad that would grow into the size of the PC Modding community? Only time will tell, but in the meantime, check-out ZapWizard's modifications here.
