SK Telecom offers cellphone GPS navigation service

The concept is not new, but Koreans have actually put it in use: SK Telecom (South Korea Telecom) has a cellphone equipped with a GPS that can receive maps as you go on the road (paid service). It's really cool because it means that as long as you can be connected to the network, you won't have to worry about having the maps locally. It also means that their network is capable of transporting the data fast enough...
If like my friend Jean-Francois, you like to get lost in the Death Valley, I strongly recommend getting a standard GPS that has the maps on a flash card…
