Apple on Sept 7th: General consensus on an iPhone
Posted on Aug 31, 05 01:19 AM PDT

Speculations around what Apple will show of Sept 7th have tilted towards an iTunes powered phone. The Wall Street Journal reports that Apple has reached an agreement with Cingular to have such a phone for the holiday season. The NY Times has a similar story and cites Motorola as being (one of) the phone manufacturer. Forbes thinks that the iTunes phone will hold only 25 songs. Many analysts also converge in this direction... or may be they are just repeating what sounds the coolest. [via Think Secret]
In other news, Creative, known for their Zen MP3 player claims that the iPod's interface infringes Creative's patent. Apple's attempt to patent their user interface has been rejected by the patent office.
