The odd-shaped Sony Bean MP3 player features a single line of OLED display (that pretty much throws functionality out of the window), FM tuner, and 50 hours of playback time per charge cycle. That comes with a catch – you can achieve such mileage only if you use Sony’s proprietary ATRAC3 format.
Thankfully, the Bean also accepts MP3, WAV, and WMA formats. You connect to a PC directly via its USB connection at the top. Both 512MB and 1GB versions will be sold at $130 and $180 respectively. You can choose between the staple colors - Black, Blue, Pink, and White.
