Acer launches 24" LCD monitor

Acer’s 24” widescreen LCD monitor, the AL2416W, has a relatively fast 6ms response time and will be released worldwide by October. Taiwan will be the first market to receive it, followed by Europe before the year is over. Prepped for a global debut, Acer plans to retail the AL2416W for $871 (sweet!) in Taiwan. This LCD monitor features a native resolution of 1900 x 1200 and a contrast ratio of 1000:1. It will definitely be a boon for graphic designers and those who are heavily involved in the design industry.
