Archos Gmini 402 is an ultra light portable media player which weighs only 160g and measures 4.1 x 2.3 x 0.7 inches. This unit is actually an upgrade version of its predecessor, the Gmini 400. The CF card slot on Gmini 400 is replaced by USB2.0 interface, allowing users to share/transfer files directly from other powered mass storage devices such as digital cameras, card readers, USB keys, and powered portable hard drives.

The Gmini 402 can auto-synchronize its content with Windows Media Player 10 or convert your Windows Media Player 10 library content to supported file formats when you connect it to your computer. Other than using it as a video/audio media player,  or storing photos on it, users can also download  Mophun games from the internet and play the game on the Gmini 402.
