Car snaps and sends photos of car thefts wirelessly

"Toyota cars, in Japan have this thing called the G-BOOK system onboard, features include GPS, telephony, emergency aid, etc., the very cool thing about G-BOOK is a feature that takes a picture of your car thief and immediately sends it to Toyota's security center." (Ployer)
That's great, but now that we all know about it, what prevents the thief from wearing a $5 baseball hat that will beat thousands of dollars worth of technology? Not that lower-tech protection has not been tried before...
