United Keys have released product similar to the (much cooler) Optimus OLED Keyboard. The patent holder for display keyboards, United Keys’ 205PRO LCD Keyboard Keytop features 20 x 20 pixel displays in monochrome. A real-time Icon Editor and icon-to-hexadecimal Image Converter are included in this $299.99 package. Only function keys support this cool feature. Expect this to be available in the first quarter of 2006, although it is going at a special ‘friends & family’ price of $199.99 until the end of 2005.
