The next time you feel your hands, feet, and bottom shaking uncontrollably when you’re driving – relax. You’re not suffering from an attack of Parkinson’s, its just the latest technological advancement in automobile safety. Your vehicle is sending you a warning to alert you of a hazard – be in an upcoming obstacle or having a heavy foot on the gas. These alert the driver of what to expect, and it is hoped that accident rates can be cut down by up to 15% upon implementation. Citroen is the pioneer of such technology, employing not only vibration alerts but smells as well (Publisher: smell would be really disturbing...)
