iPod Video illegal in California?
Oct 17, 05 02:39 AM PDT

Looks like some amendments will need to be made to the State of California, as the current laws as stated in the California Driver Handbook – Laws and Rules of the Road clearly rule out the use of the iPod Video. It says, “Do not drive a vehicle equipped with a video monitor if the monitor is visible to the driver and displays anything other than vehicle information or global mapping displays.” That pretty much rules out the rest of the Portable Video Recorder segment as well.
