Solar-powered bus stops
Posted on Oct 26, 05 12:42 AM PDT

These environmentally friendly i-SHELTERs were created by Canadian company, Carmanah. Whenever you walk into one of these bus shelters, solar-powered LED lights will greet your arrival. Edinburgh was one of more recent cities that adopted the use of such bus shelters, with installations in Canada, Chicago, and Seattle preceding it. London will soon see at least 1,200 of these solar-powered bus stops.
