eMagin Z800 head-mounted display

I thought that people actually gave up on the head-mounted display/virtual reality stuff but apparently, it’s still going on. Japanese company eMagin has an $899 (yikes!) head-mounted display that –they claim- is equivalent to a 105-inch screen viewed from 12 feet (4 meters) away. Here’s what a real 102-inch plasma display looks like. Anyways, I’m a bit skeptical about any of these virtual reality gadgets, but who knows, someone might make one that’s useful.
