Transcend unveils 8GB JetFlash Drive
Posted on Nov 7, 05 03:04 AM PDT

Transcend’s all-new gargantuan 8GB USB flash drive is USB 2.0 compatible and boasts impressive read (max 21MB/sec) and write (max 11MB/sec) speeds with an LED to indicate data transfer operation. Other features include a PC Lock function that allows the owner to use the JetFlash drive as a key to access his PC (Windows only), and boot-up functionality. There is also Partition and Security functions that create private sectors accessible via password only. Too bad it costs a whooping $600 which is pretty out of reach for many.
