idog: cute but quickly annoying

we’ve noticed that Sega’s idog was becoming a “hot gadget”, so we decided to share our experience: During our short trip to Tokyo, we brought an idog back. It was for a friend, and it sounded like a very good idea at the time, but when we got back home and started to test it, our feelings quickly went from “oohhh cute”, to “look at the lights”, to “it starts to annoy me with its sounds” in about 20 minutes. Then, we seriously looked at the (Japanese) manual to shut it up. Morality: get it if you think it’s cute, but don’t expect too much entertainment out of it.

I really don't think you should. Because she six years old!! She could get too adictive to it, and won't pay attention to her school work. Take it from a ten year old girl who's parents won't let me have any video game products in my house. I' m a straight A student!

I have a pink idog, she's super cute, Daisy is her name. I'm 10 years old. She enjoys to listen to The Jonas Bro. She's very sweet, yet annoying. All in all, she is a good "pet".

Dear Anonymous(CommentID #409322), I'm not sure that the iDog was meant only for children, but I don't know that many young kids who own an iPod, so we would need to define what age bracket "kids" mean in your comment.
Also, there are many adults who might be tempted to buy this device because it is really cute. That's why it is valuable that we can all share our experience. Thanks for posting yours.

I am looking to purchase an iDog as a gift and appreciate your comments. However, I am appalled at the language usage! This is what is wrong with people today. A sexy dog? Please. Use the correct language and maybe you can secure a job as a professional! I can imagine a client walking in to my office and telling them I find their handbag sexy. Maybe you are teens and will grow in to the adult english language. Hey man, gotta rip a new seam and see my peeps.

I'm listening to my idoggie and he's jammin to aerosmith, turn up the sound and it drowns out the robotic noises!! My doggie is color spotted, I haven't named him yet!

I have all the differnt colors of the iDogs. My favorite would mostly be my black one named Max and my white one named Rex, there brothers. xD
