i-Visor FX601 head-mounted OEL display
Dec 7, 05 08:26 AM PDT
Mikimoto will release a Korean-manufactured OLED (the only reason why it made it to this page) head-mounted display instead of a traditional LCD model. The high price should justify its high (relatively) 800 x 600 resolution as well. The 367,500 yen i-Visor FX601 uses a curved surface prism with low distortion in order to achieve a viewing angle of 42 degrees. It can also display 3D objects when needed and comes with speakers, an analog audio input. The FX601 measures 170 x 200 x 55mm and weighs a paltry 120g. It comes bundled with a pair of headphones and a soft case. Product home page via Tech Japan
