The service will let users view shows all they want (or can) for a flat fee of $6.95 per month. There won’t be a lot of content at first, but Sprint is confident that they can ramp things up. I guess that it’s the chicken & egg story: the studios want to see an installed base before selling the rights, but without the content, who’s going to subscribe? I guess that the price is low enough that if the service works correctly, it might catch on, who knows? Sprint should do the announcement in a few hours… via Reuters
