In the olden days, guitarists used to tune up by ear or with an ordinary tuner. Today, there's a tuner that tunes your guitar for you. Hold the String Master Tuner on each turning peg and pluck the string. The String Master sizes up the vibrations and turns the peg till you're in perfect pitch. The String Master uses advanced microprocessor technology to sample the sound a few times, eliminating harmonics and overtones that lead to inaccurate tuning.
