Think $1250 US. They are becoming available right now. I have one of the few US pairs in my showroom. As you might expect, there is not a lot of bass, but the clarity is Amazing! You are spot on regarding end use...the anchor for a Bang and Olufsen-based streaming music network and rear speakers for home theater are your best bets.
