GPS Signal upgraded in US

An upgrade in the current GPS signal a welcome announcement by the government. Cellphone users and other gadgets that rely on GPS can now smile as the L2C signal increases power output and accuracy of incoming satellite signals. That translates to better location accuracy at a lower power cost. Although L2C was activated today, devices will need to be equipped with updated chips in order to experience the full benefits of the upgrade. Via Phone Scoop
