Michelin x930 GPS receives flat verdict
Posted on Jan 9, 06 08:29 AM PDT
The Michelin x930 GPS receiver is more miss than hit. Correct directions are few and far between, quite unlike the comprehensive directions that are available on its website. It has a success rate of 20% when it comes to getting the right directions, which is unacceptable for any GPS system. Voice directions are awful and are more of a potential accident hazard. You can’t unmount it short of removing your entire windscreen. If you want to purchase anything with the name Michelin on it, make sure it’s a set tires. Via Pocket Lint

I ought to have paid more attention to the reviews than the price.
If you want to end up in the ditch following the X-930's directions, then by all means buy it.
It would be easier to build the roads the X-930 contains, where roads have never existed, than to upgrade it's maps (impossible).
I am a michelin employee, and can't get support for this paper weight, much less answers.
Avoid this unit at all costs!!
