Pantech king of Game Phone market with IM-8300

Koreans are truly a blessed lot. There are a total of 6 types of 3D game phones in the Korean market, with one each from Samsung, LG, and Motorola with Pantech Group offering the rest. Samsung and LG have moved 60,000 and 30,000 units respectively, while Pantech’s Sky IM-8300 has taken the lion’s share of the market with 70%. Looks like a 2.2” QVGA TFT LCD with wide view angle and a 3D optimized performance are the main factors for the IM-8300’s success.Via Pantech TV
