Samsung´s SilverCare washing machine adds protective coat
Posted on Jan 23, 06 07:14 AM PDT

Samsung has developed and patented a technology using a 99.9% sterling silver plate located inside the SilverCare Washing Machine. Over 400 billion nano0sized silver ions are emitted via electrolization, penetrating deep into fabrics during the wash and final rinse cycles, eliminating bacteria in the process. This comes in handy when it involves baby clothes, fragile blouses, and lingerie as the bacterial coating can prevent bacterial growth for up to a month.Via Treehugger
