Western Digital offers new Scorpio notebook drives, ships Caviar

Western Digital has announced their new 120GB Scorpio notebook drives that come in either EIDE or SATA interface from $234.99 onwards. All Scorpio drives come with WhisperDrive and ShockGuard technology that offers the maximum protection possible, capable of withstanding shocks up to 300G’s in operation. WD will also begin shipping their 500GB Caviar SATA drives for $349.99 for free. Via Extreme Tech
