Ever since they got cheap, fingerprint readers are all over the place. Laptops and phones are prime candidate because they are likely theft targets: they are small and expensive. Having such a gadget stolen is hard enough, but paying the additional phone bills, or losing private data is sometimes even worse. In theory, the Willcom WX310J should protect the data on the phone by acting as a lock. Interestingly, it can also be used as fingerprint reader for a computer: Price: $220. Via Smartphone Blast!
