World's first 39 megapixel digital SLR camera from Hasselblad

Between a car and a camera, which would gain the attention of your dollars? Hasselblad presents the world’s first 39 megapixel digital SLR camera, presumably powered by Kodak’s CCD. This medium format H2D-39 comes with a 2.2” OLED display, color-correction technology, and supports tethered hard drives, considering each picture is around 78MB in size on average. The H2D costs around $31,000, and for that kind of cash you can easily purchase a BMW to travel in style and luxury.Via Mobile Mag

that's funny, as I thought that Kodak used to make film that people used every now and then. They also made a cute little full frame Camera with Nikon not too long ago. Just admire the "Hassy" for what it is, and don't go cutting up one of the oldest camera companies in the world.^^

The Hasselblad and the Phase One P 45 both use the Kodak KAF39000 CCD. The quality these companies aspire to is Kodak. John, you are an idiot!

"Presumably" because Kodak is one of the CCD supplier. At this time, we do not know for sure, but it is believed that the CDD of this camera *could* be a Kodak. :D

Why "presumably powered by a kodak ccd"?

Kodak have never repressented quality in any field, and has only existed as a company to deliver cheap products to amatuers, and lots of money to the advertisers who reach those amatuers.

I would prefer to guess that the back (ccd) is a leaf luminar, or phase one, or if going with a well known brand name, perhaps an olympus or nikon or something.!

They are all quality Kodak could only aspire to!
