Posted on Feb 9, 06 07:04 AM PDT

Taking after 7-11, Apple will open a 24 hour retail store in the underground retail plaza of the GM Building on Fifth Avenue smacked right in the middle of 58th and 59th street. The store has a mammoth 25,000 square feet built-up area, and offers customers an iPod Bar as well. Scheduled to be completed in April, we are looking at an end-May opening date.Via Think Secret

OK, this is bloody cool, enough reason for me to move to NYC. Here I was just getting used to 24 hour Denny's (restaurant) and Apple goes and does something like this!

The word on the street is that Paris will get an apple Store in 2007. Someone from MacPlus claims to have gotten the answer from Steve Jobs himself, while he was visiting the Apple Store in London. Most people believe that the store will be located on the Champs Elysees, but there's no reliable information. :P
