GigaShot R60
Feb 8, 06 12:18 PM PDT

I have been raving about Hard-disk-drive (HDD) or flash-based camcorders for a while (because I hate video-tapes) but most of the time these tape less camcorders have limited storage and therefore recording time (30mn). The Toshiba Gigashot R60 introduces a record storage capacity of 60GB that allows up to 13.5 hours of recording in High Quality mode. Unfortunately, this also makes the R60 bigger than other HDD camcorders. It also records only in Standard Definition (640x480), unlike competitors like the Sanyo VPC-HD1 which is still our all time favorite camcorder.Via MobileWhack
