MatrixStream Technologies will unveil the world’s first H.264 AVC Video on Demand and IPTV Set Top Box (STB) and a PC Player that can handle 1080p HD signal formats. HD video is transferred via existing broadband connections. Plug the STB into both a TV and a broadband connection to enjoy the benefits of video-on-demand and IP broadcast TV in full DVD/HD glory. A consumer edition of the 1020HD should begin production before Q1 2006 is over.
